New feature: Optional attendees

A new checkbox for attendees

A new checkbox lets you tell Schedule Us whether or not to add invitees to your meeting. If you don’t want to invite anyone, just uncheck it.

Schedule Us is surprisingly clever at deciding from your input who should attend your meeting and adding them as invitees when you save the event in your calendar. But sometimes you want to mention who you’re meeting with for your own notes, without actually inviting them.

You can still delete any attendees that Schedule Us suggests before your click “Add to calendar”. But now you can also tell it not to bother adding anyone in the first place.

Putting a brake an AI

I use Schedule Us to put things into my calendar because it gives me the speed and ease of AI while keeping me in the driver seat.

Many AI features try too hard to get ahead of you, predicting what you want, doing it before you ask, and annoying you with confirmation screens and undo buttons.

It was a welcome eye-opener when a user pointed out that, for attendees, Schedule Us was also getting ahead of itself. (Thanks, sis!)

More feedback

Building Schedule Us and seeing it move forward is very rewarding, but nothing beats fixing or adding something suggested by a user. Is there an improvement or feature you would like to see? I’m all ears: info@scheduleus.online
