Moving to GPT-4.1

17-Apr-2025 · Peter Atwood

This week OpenAI released its new GPT-4.1 large language model, and I have upgraded Schedule Us to use it. In my use, meeting notes are now more succinct.

Zero-effort upgrade

The code change for this was trivial. In fact, it took more work to update the FAQs and the Privacy Policy.

This is one of the things that pleases me most about Schedule Us—the unexpected benefits. Because, behind the scenes, Schedule Us uses AI rather than traditional code, it gets a bunch of features “for free”.

  • It’s multi-lingual; it understands input in French, German, Vietnamese and many other languages.
  • It understands and accounts for timezone differences.
  • Made a mistake dictating? Just keep going—”Sorry, forget that, I mean . . .”—and it will figure it out.
  • Want to include email addresses for meeting invitees? Just paste the emails at the end of your input. Schedule Us will figure out which address goes with what person named earlier.

And with AI advancing at such a fast pace, Schedule Us is going to keep getting better at its job . . . all by itself.

Schedule Us is fully functional, even without a user account. Please use it, and share it with anyone you think could benefit.
